Todd McConnell, DDS, PA

Coming from a family of dentists, Dr. McConnell chose to be a dentist at a very young age. He is a proud alumnus of Texas State University, where he met his wife, Raida, and completed his undergraduate degree in Business. He completed his dental degree from Case Western Reserve University in 1993.

Dr. McConnell believes that continuing education is critical. He chose the world-reknowned Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies to continue his education. He has completed numerous courses designed to teach the most advanced methods of esthetic dentistry.

Dr. McConnell is an involved member of numerous professional associations, including the American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association, the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and the Academy of General Dentistry.

Outside the office, Dr. McConnell enjoys outdoor pursuits such as golf and jogging. He also enjoys weight training and exercising. But most of all, he enjoys spending time with his family, which includes being an assistant coach on his son Ryan's football team, and attending his daughter Marisa's dance recitals.

LaJohnna, Registered Dental Hygienist LaJohnna has been working in the field of dentistry since 1980 and has worked for Dr. McConnell since 1997. She currently has her license to practice in Texas and Florida. She also worked for the medical examiner's office in her hometown of Jacksonville, Florida. She has extensive post-graduate training in all phases of dentistry. LaJohnna's experience coupled with her continuing education allows her to take outstanding care of our patients in all facets of dentistry. She and her husband live in Piano and have two children.
Traci, Certified Dental Assistant Traci has been in the field of dentistry since 1978 and joined Dr. McConnell in 2002 as a Certified Dental Assistant . Her wealth of experience allows her to blend patient comfort with exceptional technical ability. Her skills include practical application in cosmetic dentistry , prostodontics, as well as, expanded duties in general dentistry. She is a caring professional who is eager to care for all of our patients. She and her husband reside in Plano and have one child.
Raida, Office Administrator Raida has been working with Dr. McConnell since 2000. She is available to assist patients with scheduling appointments, filing insurance, financial arrangements and anything else that can help our patients achieve exceptional dental health. With over 15 years experience in Human Resources, she is experienced in benefit administration, as well as, strategic planning and helping people achieve their goals.
